Often called laughing gas, nitrous oxide helps you relax while remaining awake and responsive. Its effects wear off quickly, allowing many patients to return to normal activities soon after their appointment.

Oral conscious sedation is prescribed before your appointment to help you feel deeply relaxed throughout treatment. It's often recommended for patients with moderate dental anxiety or those having longer procedures.

Sedation may also be recommended for dental implants, tooth extractions, full-mouth rehabilitation, or multiple procedures completed in one visit. It can make longer appointments feel more comfortable and manageable.

Patients with strong gag reflexes, dental sensitivity, or difficulty sitting through treatment may also benefit from sedation. We'll work with you to create a more comfortable experience from start to finish.
